Ubisoft entrusted me with the direction of the Rabbids Invasion series. To establish a strong foundation for the first season, I setup a dedicated team within Ubisoft to develop the series’ visual bible. Working along side character designers and environment artists, we expanded the Rabbids'universe by designing new characters, environments, and props while ensuring maximum reusability to optimize production.

Managing an animated series requires strict control overtime and resources. We implemented several strategies to streamline and accelerate the production process:

·        Modular characters: By adding a few accessories, we could quickly transform one character into another.

·        Interchangeable vehicles: Cars were designed in three parts (front, middle, and rear), allowing us to swap these sections like LEGO pieces to create multiple unique vehicles effortlessly.

·        Asset reusability: This method was applied across all environments and props to maximize flexibility and efficiency.

I also worked closely with the head writer, bringing my experience with the Rabbids to define their expressions, body language, and signature comedic style. Having directed multiple films featuring these characters, I helped shape the humor that makes them unique, ensuring the writing team captured the essence of their comedy. Once the visual bible and workflows were validated, we moved on to producing the first episodes, setting up a seamless pipeline. With the production fully operational, episodes were delivered steadily, maintaining a consistent quality across all 78 episodes.
